Smiles for Kids
Smiles for NM Kids Mobile Dentistry will be making their spring visit to our school on April 28th and 29th. This mobile dental clinic provides dental screenings, exams, cleanings, sealants, x-rays and fillings for Stapleton students.
The consent form is valid for the entire school year. If your child was seen in the fall and you would like them to be seen again, YOU DO NOT NEED TO DO ANYTHING.
If your child was previously seen this past fall and do NOT want your child to receive dental services this spring, you will need to contact them by email at smilesnm@yahoo.com or by phone at 505-553-3607. You will need to let them know before the planned arrival date.
For those that did not use these services in the fall but would like to have their child seen, please contact Stapleton Health Office and we will send a consent home with your child.
We hope you will join us in welcoming this group to our school again as we take an aggressive stance on the #1 childhood disease in our state - - tooth decay!
Siblings at school

Dear Stapleton Families,

Several of you have asked about having non-Stapleton aged students at school.  We appreciate those of you who take the time to volunteer during the school day.  We need to ask that the little ones are not in the classroom since there is the potential to interrupt instruction.

If there are performances during the school day, you can certainly bring your small children.  An example may be the upcoming talent show or a class performance.

You are more than welcome to bring your little ones to evening events and performances.

Have a wonderful evening!

Mrs. Patricia Di Vasto

Crossing Guards Needed
We are actively seeking crossing guards at Ernest Stapleton Elementary School, Colinas del Norte Elementary and Mountain View Middle School.  The City doesn’t ‘recruit’ so without something/someone outside, directing people to its website, these positions will most likely not be filled anytime soon. The website is below:

Mission: Rio Rancho Public Schools is dedicated to graduating each student with an educational foundation for success as a responsible, ethical contributor to society.
